FAQ

Q.  When will you open?
A.  We are hoping to open our brick and mortar in Centreville, VA in late 2019. We plan to have a soft opening later this fall once our construction efforts have completed.

Q.  Can I bring my own cat?
A.  No. All adoptable cats at Catfe Diem are fully vetted and have passed their wellness exam through Paws for Seniors, are spayed/neutered, combo tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and are up to date on all shots, flea preventative, and deworming medicine.

Q.  Can I bring my own food?
A.   We discourage food unless it’s a private event and we do not serve food on the premises. We find that fur and food don’t mix unless it is in a controlled environment with staff to assist. A beverage of your choice is included with admission and we offer bottomless self-serve coffee, hot tea, hot cocoa, assorted bottled drinks, and water.

Q.  Is there an age requirement to visit the cats?
A.   Yes. For the safety of our cats and patrons we do not accept guests under 10 years of age. If you are interested in adopting one of our cats and your application has been approved by our partner rescue you may arrange a special visit to introduce your child to your potential furever friend. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. ID may be required. However, there is no age restriction to enter the vintage & vinyl shop which is adjacent to the catfe.

Q.  Can I volunteer?
A.  Yes, yes, yes! A thousand times yes! We love our Paws for Seniors volunteers that sign up to help in our cat space! You can fill out the form on this page to see how you can help. You can also save lives by fostering homeless cats!
